Larami was totally absorbed into Hasbro by 2003, ending the golden age of the Super Soaker brand. The new toys sold under the Super Soaker name today are marketed towards children. These new blasters perform very poorly and are under powered. Soakertag was introduced in 2004, Soakertag blasters came packaged with little "targets" that could be clipped onto the players. The goal was to destroy the target. Thus having one-hit-kill matches would be made easier. Soaker Tag Elite was coined in 2005. In 2006 the Max Infusion system was created. It allows normal size blasters to be hooked up to a backpack for more water capacity. It is a wonderful idea, now only if the blaster where good enough to stand up against the CPS/Max-D class of soakers.
