Larami was totally absorbed into Hasbro by 2003. Hasbro has to the opinion of many Super Soaker enthusiast ruined the brand that many had come to love and cherish. The new blasters which are obvious marketed to the 6-10 age groups lack the power and punch of the blasters of yesteryear. Soakertag was introduced in 2004, Soakertag blasters came packaged with little "targets" that could be clipped onto the players. The goal was to destroy the target. Thus having one-hit-kill matches would be made easier. Soaker Tag Elite was coined in 2005. In 2006 the Max Infusion system was created. It allows normal size blasters to be hooked up to a backpack for more water capacity. It is a wonderful idea, now only if the blaster where good enough to stand up against the CPS/Max-D class of soakers.
